A day in downtown madrid
http://www.80shortcuts.com This video shows downtown Madrid, Spain, on a busy Friday night. Thousands of people were walking the street and enjoying the atmosphere. The video was recorded on November 18th, 2011. My flight from Lisbon, Portugal, was delayed this morning, forcing me to stay the night in Madrid. Poor me! http://towbsss.blogspot.com (110522) Here is a video of me walking around Madrid. The city is very beautiful with many things to see. In my haste to show as much as I could, I probably ended up walking a little faster than I should be, making it a little shaky. I was also a little sick at the time, so I kind of wanted to get it over with =P Unfortunately I don't recognize the names of certain landmarks, but check it out, and maybe you can ID them for me =) Thanks for watching! Travel video about destination Madrid in Spain. Madrid is Europe's most elevated metropolis, a royal capital of history, outstanding buildings and cultural treasures. Most of Spain's royal palaces are in Madrid, the capital of Spain since the 17th century. Including the Royal Palace, that even today serves as a royal castle. The colossal building of grey granite and limestone owes its impressive appearance to its length of 500 metres and strategic elevated location. On the southern side of the castle is Madrid's most recent cathedral, Almudena Cathedral. It boasts a combination of styles between New Gothic and Classical and was 200 years in construction. Madrid also has a boulevard that has transformed it into a major metropolis, the Gran Via, that compares in both flair and dimensions ...

Hello to you Travellers, this time was time to go to Madrid and its was really great! It was a city that didn't surprise me cause I was already expecting what I was going to see, and that not to be confused with a bad city! It was only cause I have been in other Spanish cities before and I was expecting the same vibe. Madrid was really nice, I went to see the Real Madrid Stadium, then went for a nice breakfast, after that I went for a walk in the Real Palace Garden and then stop for a bit in Grand Plaza. Soon I went to La Latina and to a botanical garden, Madrid provided me with an amazing day... Let me know about your experience in this city and what could I have done that you don't see on the video. For sure next time I will be doing that! Follow me at: YouTube ➞ http://www.youtube.com...
The Best & Worst of Madrid, Spain. From fantastic tapas bars and nightlife to cultural opportunities galore like the Prado Museum, Reina Sofia Museum and the Palacio Real there are so many things to love about Madrid... But a few things you might not like about Madrid, like your need to speak a little Spanish, not knowing which train station to head to to visit the cool day trips and a few other little things. Overall Madrid is amazing and well worth visiting. Filmed in Madrid, Spain Copyright Mark Wolters 2014

Madrid, Spain's central capital, is a city of elegant boulevards and expansive, manicured parks such as the Buen Retiro. It’s renowned for its rich repositories of European art, including the Prado Museum’s works by Goya, Velázquez and other Spanish masters. The heart of old Hapsburg Madrid is the portico-lined Plaza Mayor, and nearby is the baroque Royal Palace and Armory, displaying historic weaponry.
